The climate is ideal for camp activities. Most days are warm and pleasant with low humidity, and the nights bring refreshing, cool mountain air. |

The faculty at Brant Lake Dance Camp and Brant Lake Camp for Boys consists of more than 100 carefully chosen people gathered from colleges and universities throughout the U.S.A., Great Britain and other countries. They are selected from many applicants on the basis of integrity of character, reliability, warmth, personality, and a sincere desire to teach and guide our campers. The first priority of every counselor is the care, supervision, laughter and happiness of every girl in her bunk. Her second responsibility is to the girls in her assigned group. Beyond that, her task is to be an outstanding teacher and coach in the area of her strength. Each counselor participates in a well-planned five-day, pre-camp orientation program, which covers camp values, policies and traditions, as well as offering specific instruction in dealing with the needs of our campers. Follow-up meetings with key staff and directors occur at regular intervals throughout the camp season. |
